Dr. Baskind works both in the NHS and in private practice. Sue is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society.

Within a clinical setting, Dr. Baskind has a number of years experience with respect to the assessment and treatment of adults who live in chronic pain or with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. She also has considerable experience of providing psychological assessment and treatment to working-age adults experiencing psychological and emotional difficulties such as anxiety, depression, health anxiety, panic attacks and phobias and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).

Dr. Baskind offers specific assessments and therapeutic work for clients suffering post traumatic stress symptoms (PTSD). For example she has treated clients suffering distress after a road traffic accident, an attack, or sometimes a difficult labour and delivery of a baby.

She also advises on parenting and facilitates groups for parents of children where there are behavioural concerns.

Dr. Baskind has studied at Sheffield, Leeds and Bradford universities and has undertaken post-qualification training in cognitive behavioural therapy for a range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, PTSD and OCD.
