Expert Witness Forensic Reports

photoExpert Witness Forensic Reports are written by Dr Harvey who has practised in a variety of health and forensic settings, including prisons, secure hospitals and probation. In his current NHS work, he provides forensic reports, psychological  assessment and supervision and consultation with high-risk offenders who may attract a diagnosis of personality disorder and are in custody or in the community on license.       

 He is trained by the British Psychological Society as an expert witness and provides psychological assessment and expert witness services in criminal proceedings, particularly in relation to adult mental health, personality disorder, risk assessment of violence, suggestibility, intellectual functioning and psychological understandings of offending behaviours, such as violence, domestic violence, sexual offending, stalking and arson.

Dr Harvey also offers independent psychological and risk assessments of prisoners with an indeterminate sentence for parole proceedings. He specialises in carrying out assessments of lifer and IPP prisoners and making recommendations for parole hearings.

 Kerri Garbutt Kerri is a practitioner psychologist with over 13 years’ experience working with individuals with complex and traumatic histories, including  a forensic background. She is experienced at conducting a range of psychological assessments and can undertake assessments, deliver treatment and conduct expert witness reports within a range of formal settings (e.g. court, parole hearings, tribunals etc).

Kerri has experience in working with individuals with personality disorders, complex psychopathologies, emotional difficulties, relationship/attachment difficulties, traumatic histories, and learning disabilities.
