Sue is the Yorkshire Psychology Practice Director, a Chartered Clinical and Educational Psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She has considerable experience providing psychological assessment and treatment to working-age adults experiencing psychological and emotional difficulties.
Sue takes referrals from Harrogate, Wetherby and Leeds and the surrounding areas.

Dr Manreesh Bains takes referrals from Sheffield and the surrounding areas. She is a Clinical Psychologist currently working in the NHS with older adults with complex mental health difficulties.

Ros is qualified as both an Educational and Clinical Psychologist. She works with children, their families and schools who are experiencing a variety of educational, social and emotional difficulties.
Ros also works with adults who are experiencing difficulties including low mood, anxiety (including PTSD) and work related stress.

Sue is an HCPC registered Chartered Clinical Psychologist, with 17 years post qualification experience working in NHS healthcare settings in the Yorkshire region. She specialises in neuropsychological assessment, rehabilitation advice, and delivery of adapted psychological therapies for patients adjusting to neurological problems using CBT, ACT and Compassion Focussed and Motivational Interviewing approaches.

Kerri is an experienced psychologist working with individuals with adults who have stressful day to day life problems as well as individuals who have complex and traumatic histories. She has experience of working with individuals who have a forensic background.
Kerri is also able to provide expert guidance on formulation, treatment planning as well as supervise other practitioners. She also writes expert witness reports.
Kerri takes referrals from Wakefield and the surrounding areas.

Sue Harrington is a specialist occupational therapist and a mindfulness teacher. She has considerable experience in working with clients who have difficulties relating to living with problems such as chronic pain, fatigue, stress, anxiety, low mood, sleep difficulties, loss of independence and decreased quality of life.

Caroline is a Clinical Pscyhologist who takes referrals from Bedale, Easingwold, Northallerton, York and surrounding areas.
Caroline currently works with children and adults with a range of physical health problems and endstage / palliative healthcare. She specialises in respiratory (Cystic Fibrosis), gastroenterology and chronic pain conditions. Caroline has worked in a range of physical and mental health care settings across the life span over the past 25 years.

Dr Harvey is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and is registered with the British Psychological Society and the Health and Care Professionals Council. He currently offers expert witness services in criminal proceedings and psychological therapy countrywide. He is experienced in clinical assessment, intervention and leadership in the NHS and the criminal justice system.

Samantha works with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, adjustment to illness and long term conditions, grief and bereavement. She is trained in using a number of different evidenced based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness and EMDR.

I am a chartered Clinical Psychologist with more than 5 years experience of working therapeutically using a range of psychological approaches in the NHS and private sector with adults and young people (including people with a learning disability). I enjoy working collaboratively with people with a variety of difficulties with adjustment, coping, or mental health issues in a person-centred way, and adapting interventions to individual levels of need and ability. I have experience in working with mild to severe mental health difficulties including depression, anxiety, PTSD, psychosis and personality difficulties, and people who have experienced trauma.

He offers psychological therapy for adults with a wide range of difficulties. David has a wide range of experience as a clinical psychologist in the NHS. David’s therapeutic interests are in Cognitive Behavioural, Cognitive Analytical and Compassion Focused approaches to psychological distress.

Jennie is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with clinics in both Hull and Market Weighton. She has 17 years’ post-qualification experience of working in mental health settings in the NHS. Jennie is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the British Psychological Society and is a member of the Crisis, Disaster and Trauma section of the BPS.
Jennie has experience of working with a wide range of mental health problems in adults. She has led and worked in a specialist trauma service since 2001 and has signifcant experience in providing trauma focused interventions using a phased approach. Jennie has particular interest and experience in working with Military Veterans.

Clinical psychologist and children’s therapist Dr Katja Osswald works in North Yorkshire, Hull, York and Leeds and is the latest associate to join Yorkshire Psychology Practice (YPP). Katja works with adults experiencing anxiety or depression, as well as adjusting to chronic health problems.
Katja specialises in children’s mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression and autism. She works part time in the NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and has an additional qualification in the assessment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Katja is also employed in an NHS Autism assessment service.

Carrie is an HCPC registered, Chartered Clinical Psychologist with a keen interest in helping people achieve their goals by helping to discover and treat psychological difficulties that could be getting in the way such as anxiety, stress, depression, etc. Carrie uses a range of psychological approaches, including cognitive-behavioural therapy, compassion-focused therapy and person-centred counselling. Carrie is also interested in the field of positive psychology, which looks to uncover one’s inner strengths to help them to achieve their goals.
Carrie has many years of experience conducting cognitive assessments to assess and treat difficulties such as poor memory or concentration associated with conditions such as dementia, epilepsy, stroke, etc. or after a traumatic brain injury. For example, Carrie regularly assesses people’s psychological and cognitive functioning following head injuries, to better inform their current and future employment, or as part of their compensation claim.

Dr Ilona Singer sees adults experiencing a wide range of psychological distress including low mood and anxiety. However, her specialism is working with clients who have complex difficulties including psychosis and borderline personality disorder. Dr Singer is used to supporting patients who have felt they have failed with a previous therapists or in other therapies.

The main therapies she uses are Schema Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy, Psychodynamic Interpersonal Therapy (PIT) and mindfulness.

Dr Katie Topp is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the HCPC, is a chartered member of the BPS and is a member of EMDR UK & Ireland. Katie works in a specialist NHS service for adults in Hull and has a private clinic in Goole and Hull extending her work across Yorkshire and the Humber.
Katie can offer psychological assessment, formulation and treatment for adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties including: anxiety, depression, stress, OCD, trauma and PTSD, medically unexplained symptoms (e.g. non epileptic attack disorder), adjustment to chronic health problems, bereavement, phobias and social anxiety.
Katie utilises a number of therapeutic models including CBT, EMDR and ISTDP. She is interested in attachment theory and psychodynamic principles and offers short, medium and long term therapies. Katie has experience in psychological assessment and reports for individuals prior to bariatric surgery. She can also offer medico legal reports and is interested in working with employers in relation to work related sickness.
